Klonoa
- ... that Klonoa was born in 1997 in Japan?
Created/expanded by NewFranco (talk), NewFranco (talk). Nominated by NewFranco (talk) at 02:52, 21 May 2013 (UTC).
NewFranco, DYK nominations have to be no older than 5 days for new articles, or expanded 5 times within the last 5 days for older articles. You left a message on my talk page that you didn't know what to do once you created this template, so I posted the template here. However, both articles referenced in this template are pretty old, and there is no clear date of expansion. And while you have listed yourself as the creator and nominator, I don't really see you listed in either article's history. I'm glad you want to participate in DYK. However, before you create another template, please study Wikipedia:Did you know for how to do that. You may post all the questions you want at Wikipedia talk:Did you know. Thank you for the interest in participating, and good luck with future nominations. — Maile (talk) 11:24, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

- Correcting how I phrased this. The 5-day rule means that the nomination needs to be created within 5 days of the article's creation, or expansion. Klonoa was created in 2004. There has been no significant expansion at all for years. Also, you seem to be confused by how you filled out this form. "Created by", means the person who actually did the work on the article, not the person who created the nomination, which is what "Nominated by" is for. Nothing in the article's history indicates you contributed anything to the article, so you cannot be the creator. The article itself is 9 years old and has not been expanded. If you have anything else to add, please post on this template, not my talk page. Thank you. — Maile (talk) 19:18, 21 May 2013 (UTC)}
