Template:R from more specific name
Revision as of 14:54, 22 May 2015 by test>SMcCandlish (Why is this code so redundant?)
- This is a redirect from a title that is a more specific name to a less specific, more general one. For more information follow the category link.
- It may be a more specialized term, include extraneous identifiers, or simply be worded more narrowly. It leads to the title in accordance with the naming conventions for common names and can help writing. It is not necessary to replace these redirected links with a piped link.
- If the redirect is simply a longer version of the same name, use {{R from long name}} instead.
- If the redirect is a completely different name for the same topic, use {{R from alternative name}} instead.
- If the redirect is a subtopic of the topic to which it redirects, and might someday have its own article, use {{R from subtopic}} instead.
- For redirects that are incorrect names for the target, use {{R from incorrect name}}.
