Usage

This template must be substituted. If a <ref>...</ref> is present, use {{Clarifyref2}} instead, immediately after </ref>.

This is a customized instance of {{Clarify}}, that templates the once tedious task of flagging badly done reference citations. It also automatically includes the date.

The code in the article will then read:

{{Clarify|date=December 2025|reason=<nowiki>This is not a proper reference citation. Use Template:Cite web or similar to provide source details. Use <ref...> inline in the article (see WP:CITE) to source the specific facts provided by this reference.</nowiki>}}
