A Kitty Bobo Show
- ... that the titular character of A Kitty Bobo Show was based on the creators' experiences as Korean adoptees?
ALT1:... that A Kitty Bobo Show was optioned by The Walt Disney Company before being turned down and accepted by Cartoon Network?- Reviewed: La fille aux cheveux de lin
- Comment: Looking to get this reviewed in the week before Meaghan Dunn's (the co-creator's) Kickstarter is ended.

- WP:NOTCENSORED notwithstanding, I don't think the hook should refer to a character's titulars, especially what with this being a children's cartoon and all. EEng (talk) 23:26, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
- hehe. Fixed. 23W 23:39, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
- ALT2 ... that the eponymous character of A Kitty Bobo Show was based on one of the co-creator's experience as a Korean adoptee?
Template:Ping Thanks for the laughs. If you're not busy, do you think you'd be able to give this a full review? I'd like to get this in the prep within the week as the Kickstarter is close to a week from ending; I know about WP:NOTADVERTISING and all, but I think it'd be a bummer to have this run too late. 23W 21:18, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
- Ouch. I hate to tell you this, but from what I can see this article is nowhere near the 5X requirement. Am I mixed up? If I am, what are the "before" and "after" dates for the expansion? Right now I'm seeing about 2X from May until now. EEng (talk) 21:56, 23 August 2014 (UTC)

I had lost my mind for a minute there -- I think I was looking at the wrong change history. Anyway... NewlongcitesnoBLPnocopyvio. The hook cites to a source which gives --
- Kitty Bobo's creators -- Kevin Kaliher and his wife Meaghan Dunn-Kaliher -- are both Korean adoptees. Kevin Kaliher says that much of the impetus for Kitty Bobo came while traveling in Korea in search of his birth family.
--and I think it's reasonable to interpret that as the hook's "based on one of the co-creator's experience as a Korean adoptee". Clear for takeoff. (Before anyone notices and makes a fuss, please cite the Synopsis section i.e. cite the pilot episode itself.)
Unrelated to this review, however... I'm concerned that the linked article Korean adoptee is a bit, er, rambling -- and why don't we have 250 articles: "Russian adoptee", "German adoptee", "Mexican adoptee", "US adoptee" and so on? EEng (talk) 23:11, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
