  • Reviewed: Alma Vessells John
  • Comment: Don't know how to solve the problem that the 1889 image is still under her stage name before her 1890 marriage, while the concert was under her married name in 1900.

What can we do? It works fine for me, saying (I don't think this is secret):

1900 Concert Munich 20-10-1900 – Symphony No. 2

    Chronology: Year 1900
    Location: Kaim-Saal
Nature: First concert of the Hugo Wolf (1860-1903) verein
    Program: Berlioz, Strauss, Mahler
    Composition Mahler:

    Symphony No. 2

    Soloist: Agnes Denis-Stavenhagen (1862-1945), Elise Feinhals (1869-1924)
    Conductor: Gustav Mahler (1860-1911)
Orchestra: The Kaim orchestra, reinforced by 18 musicians from the Munich hof orchestra (royal orchestra)
Chorus: The Porges’çher choral society and the Lehrergesangverein
    Concert number: c133
Notes: First performance of Mahler – Symphony No. 2 – in Munich.

(Actually, the last line says "Symphony No. 1" but that's nonsense.) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:14, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
