  • Comment: Not sure the image works too well at that size so happy for the hook to go forward without it

  • for info - I cropped Laura's image Victuallers (talk) 16:09, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Symbol confirmed.svg I have copy editted the article etc and added a bit. I also boldly removed the final word "leg" from the interesting hook (which is well reffed). The article looks good for length, its a notable subject and its well cited with good quality refs. The image is the work of wikipedian @LauraHale so thanks to her and thanks for the article Victuallers (talk) 17:27, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
    • Symbol redirect vote 4.svg We normally try to avoid using someone's disability as a hook. How about:
      • ALT1: ... that German para-alpine skier Anna-Lena Forster (pictured) won a silver medal at the 2014 Winter Paralympics by being one of the only two athletes to complete a race? Hawkeye7 (talk) 11:47, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
        • In my experience that hasn't been true but if the Alt is prefered that's fine with me - Basement12 (T.C) 12:01, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
          • Symbol confirmed.svg - Not sure I agree that disability is a negative thing in this case (maybe one of the wikipedian who are working with these teams can advise?? @LauraHale et al?). However ALT1 checks out too, but its not so interesting IMO. @Baesment7 has all the experience here. Are you sure we are not inventing a taboo about disability where none exists? Cheers Victuallers (talk) 13:46, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
            • Whilst I've used a Paralympian's disability as part of a hook in the past it was often more of an interesting/uncommon story (e.g. shark attack, during military service) I'd agree that it would be be better where we can to highlight sporting achievements rather than focusing on the disability, which I think is what Hawkeye7 was hinting at - Basement12 (T.C) 14:39, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
