- ... that blind singer Annie Landouw (pictured) may have inspired a main character in Armijn Pane's Belenggu?

- 1) Not very interesting hook unless told which character 2) Image licensing issue, uploader does not seem to be copyright holder. --Tito☸Dutta 22:36, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
- Titodutta, have you looked at the part where it says this is a derivative work? I am, technically, the copyright holder on the derivative work of the public domain image (linked as the source). I don't claim copyright on it, because I don't feel I should, but there are some who will reimagine PD images and claim copyright. How is the name of the character more interesting? We could add "main" before character, but 99% of our readers will not know who Yah is. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:56, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- Date, length, copyvio checked. If you crop a public domain image and claim copyright, then "Licensing" is incorrect where license details of the original image has been given, but, there is nothing about the derivative work. --Tito☸Dutta 03:02, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- No, it says "I release this under the following license", which means I am putting my derivative work in the public domain as well. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:04, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- Those URAA, EU anonymous etc templates are not applicable for the derivative work, since you cropped (created) it yesterday. I have made some changes. You can revert it and discuss here. (PS. for some reason, I am not being notified, but, I am following watchlist) --Tito☸Dutta 03:14, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- Nobody has claimed as much in my FACs before, although in theory it has merit. Your changes look fine. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:26, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
