  • Symbol confirmed.svg Template:Ping New, in time, long enough, sourced, hook checks out and is sourced (added an extra inline citation), copyvios pretty much impossible (all Dutch sources), QPQ done. --Usernameunique (talk) 01:47, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
Comment: - Template:Ping in what way is the name actually unusual? As a non-Dutch person, I find that many Dutch people tend to have inordinately long and antique sounding names. Just two examples: Petrus Ferdinandus Johannes van Hooijdonk and Rutgerus Johannes Martinus van Nistelrooy. Maybe this should be explained a little more, in the hook as well? Edelseider (talk) 21:04, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Unusual doesn't mean unique. If there are other Dutch people with unusual names then that's ok. The point of the hook in this case is that the name was sufficiently intriguing to inspire a book. Andrew D. (talk) 13:50, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg I added a "clarification needed" tag to her husband's "violent death". As questioned on the talk page, was he a victim of the Nazis, or did something else befall him? Yoninah (talk) 00:48, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
  • This detail does not seem significant for the DYK but I have clarified it. Andrew D. (talk) 13:50, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Symbol voting keep.svg Thank you, Template:U, for clarifying that fact. I agree that the hook works. Restoring tick per Usernameunique's review. Yoninah (talk) 17:00, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
  • I don't know. I suppose the book may say more about it. Andrew D. (talk) 22:59, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Putting the husband's family name first is the tradition in the Netherlands according to Dutch_name#Dutch_naming_law_.28surnames.29. Be that as it may, please don't move the article without consulting the principal author, DonPantalone. They have good expertise in this matter and so we should defer to their judgement. Andrew D.
