Bugyals

View of Bedni Bugyal in Uttarakhand on the way to Roopkund
... that Bugyals are high altitude alpine grass lands, or meadows, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, where they are called "nature's own gardens"?
5x expanded by Nvvchar (talk). Self-nominated at 17:38, 23 July 2015 (UTC).
The prose was 5x expanded recently, is free of close paraphrasing issues, copyright violations and plagiarism. The hook is interesting and referenced, with QPQ done. Good to go! -- Frankie talk 17:22, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

- "Bugyal are high altitude alpine grass lands or meadows in Uttaranchal. These are also referred as 'nature's own gardens'."
- This will need to be fixed in the article before this can proceed to the main page (as the exact hook text is also in the article), and a new hook will need to be supplied. ~ RobTalk 06:00, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- Template:Pong Thanks for the review. I have modified the lead sentence. There was a further problem as one of the book references was deleted as it was not acceptable and consequently several tags were introduced by another reviewer. I took some time to find references. I have fixed all references which has also resulted in adding more text. I now propose this ALT1 hook. ... that the Meadows of the Bedni Bugyal (pictured) in the Chamoli district have camps for pilgrims to visit the Rup Kund lake which is covered with snow for 10 months in a year?--Nvvchar. 06:36, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- Template:Replyto We still need an in-line citation at the end of the sentence the fact comes from, as per the criteria. I'll complete a more full review when that's taken care of. ~ RobTalk 20:20, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- Template:Ping Fixed references to all tags.--Nvvchar. 09:03, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Expanded, long enough, neutral, verifiable, no remaining close paraphrasing or copyvios. ALT1 is short enough and interesting. It still needs an in-line citation no later than at the end of the sentence where the fact is. There's no in-line citation on the sentence that is used to source the fact that Rud Kung is covered in snow 10 months out of the year. ~ RobTalk 14:50, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Template:Ping Thanks for the review. I have fixed the reference.--Nvvchar. 01:12, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
