Chesapeake Bay Bridge
Chesapeake Bay Bridge
  • ... that the first walk across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (pictured) was organized after a Boy Scout Leader asked the Governor if his troop could walk across it during maintenance? Source: "when a Boy Scout leader in Towson, Md., asked then-Governor Marvin Mandel if his troop could walk across the ... Bridge while it was closed for maintenance." [1]
    • ALT1:... that the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (pictured) has a reversible lane that changes traffic direction based on vehicle volume? Source: "During periods of heavy eastbound traffic, one lane of the westbound bridge is reversed to carry eastbound travelers." [2]
  • Comment: Not sure what the "author" field should be for GAs, used the reviewer and the editor who made the edits (myself).

Symbol question.svg Substantial GA on fine sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed, but looks like other bridges. How about the one next to "expansions", showing the size better? The original hook is a long read, and the ALT is not too exciting for "the scariest bridge". I'll approve it if you don't come up with something more attractive. We need every paragraph to end with a citation, please add the few missing. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:00, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
