Edna S. Purcell House

  • ... that the innovative Edna S. Purcell House, built in 1913, has a rare example of an original kitchen and bathroom, nearly untouched since the house was built?

  • Symbol question.svg Article's recent 5X expansion has been confirmed. Hook is short and interesting enough. Sourcing is to an off-line work published by the University of Minnesota Press. Assumption of good faith with respect to accuracy of sourcing. Spot-checking (and running of copyvio check) show no signs of non-compliance with core policies. QPQ is complete. However, I have a concern about the image license. The license asserts that the image is public domain but the description indicates that the photograph is from the Minnesota Institute of Arts. The image is found on the MIA's facebook page here. Moreover, the MIA's page here on this house states: "All Rights Reserved. Minneapolis Institute of Arts." Bottom line is that the PD license appears dubious and unsubstantiated. This hook is fine to run without image. If nominator wants it to run with image, further information on licensing is needed. • Point taken. The colour photo is certainly not pre-1923! I've removed it from the nomination. Sionk (talk) 21:34, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
