  • Symbol question.svg The page was created at 03:58, 6 October and nominated at 03:42, 13 October, which fits comfortably into the 7-day window, so the newness factor is fine. Article is also long enough, neutrally written, and well-referenced. Image is freely licensed. QPQ done.
  • A spot check of sources finds no close paraphrasing except for this line:
  • Source: Much of the shore is exposed rock although there are some weedy areas in shallow bays.
  • Article: Most of the lake's shoreline is exposed rock, with some weedy areas in the bays.
  • A cite is needed in the first paragraph under Hydrology – 1970s study, per Rule D2. Reread; this is an introduction to the entire section, which is adequately referenced.
  • Regarding the hook, the first hook is a quote from the source, and is placed in quotation marks in the article. But I greatly prefer ALT1. The ALT1 hook fact is verified and cited inline. Yoninah (talk) 21:30, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
I rewrote the sentence in question (no doubt clearing the way for some well-meaning anon down the line to completely, innocently rewrite it into something more like the original in the name of improving the prose). Hey, you gotta love this goof of yours that I cleaned up Face-wink.svg. I have no problems with ALT1 ... it'll probably get the clicks more than the other one. • Symbol confirmed.svg At least my heart was in the right place :) No close paraphrasing seen. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 12:07, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
