Hook is too long (well over 200 characters - and remember spaces must be counted). Otherwise good to go: New enough, long enough, within policy, and hook is verifiable. I think you can fix this easily by shortening the hook. -- Presearch (talk) 10:55, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- One possible alternative hook might be ALT 1: ... that Hameen Ali received the Disney Sports Spirit Award, awarded annually to "college football's most inspirational athlete... while overcoming adversity"?

- I'm good with Alt1. Jrcla2 (talk) 16:31, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- ALT1 is problematic in terms of being a smooth sentence. I suggest drastically shortening the quote and doing some rearrangement:
- ALT2: ... that Hameen Ali received the Disney Sports Spirit Award, awarded annually to the "most inspirational" college football player who overcomes adversity? —BlueMoonset (talk) 05:09, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
