  • Symbol possible vote.svg New enough, nominator exempt from QPQ requirement per QPQ check results, checks for copyvio reveal no problems (e.g. [1]). Matters that need to be addressed:
  • Article is not long enough, presently at 1178 characters. Per WP:WIADYK #2a it must have at least 1,500 characters
  • No hook is proposed herein
  • All non-lead paragraphs should have at least one inline citation, per D2 of the DYK supplementary rules.

  • Its been a while since I edited anything so bare with me as I try to get back into how to format stuff.. I did try to put a hook.. "that James Walsh (convict) drew intricate artworks on his Australian cell wall that were discovered by accident almost a century later?" but they never showed once I saved the page. I think I need a little help with this. I will however endeaver to expand the text to meet criteria and find a citation. Thanks for your help. Ghostieguide (talk) 14:33, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Template:Ping Page size is still only 1490 bytes of text, below the 1500-byte minimum. Also the biography paragraph needs citations for the part after his conviction. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:57, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
