John Crakehall

- ALT1:... that although the medieval Treasurer of England John Crakehall was a clergyman sworn to celibacy, he had a daughter to whom he left half his estate? Long enough, nominated in timely fashion, appears neutral and cited to reliable sources. QPQ done. No copyright problems found by Earwig or me. Both hooks are concise and (with the following nitpicks) supported by ODNB source. I found the first one dull (why should I care about Grosseteste/Paris/Chronica majora?). The second is more interesting but (nitpick) might require a reference for the celibacy part; also "half" isn't supported by ODNB. Both hooks need some tweaking to pipe links to the precise title for Chronica majora and Treasurer of England. Espresso Addict (talk) 04:58, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
