Journal de Malte
- ... that publication of Malta's first newspaper was discontinued after about 10 issues due to a local uprising? Source: "This insurrection spelled the end of Malta's first newspaper" (source)
- ALT1:... that a Maltese word meaning "newspaper" is derived from the Journal de Malte, a short-lived propaganda publication from the French occupation of Malta in 1798? Source: "The contents show quite clearly the aims of the newspaper: propaganda in favour of the French" (source), "the Maltese word for newspaper today is still gurnal" (source)

Interesting article. New enough, long enough, well referenced, with no close paraphrasing. Both hooks are interesting and cited to reliable sources. For what it's worth, I think "about 10 issues" is a reasonable way of summarising the uncertainty around the true number of issues. QPQ is done. 97198 (talk) 14:28, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
