This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline and either hook could be used, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. Template:Ping A QPQ needs to be done as you have seven previous DYKs. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:17, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks Template:U I have reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Acer diabolicum per QPQ. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 13:56, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. This is good to go. (I prefer the purple egg sac.) Cwmhiraeth (talk) 14:03, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks Template:U, I have made contact with one of the researchers and might soon obtain a few suitable photos. According to him the best photos have already been published but he is willing to search through his own unpublished collection for a few to add here. The egg sacks are indeed stunning. I'm also waiting for the full text of the journal article, so far I've only been able to use the abstract. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:49, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
