Plot

Told with brutal honesty, FARMING is an unflinching autobiographical portrait of a young man who must battle the odds and realize that, in a world of hate, his toughest battle will be learning to love himself.[1]
Controversy
The movie shows how Black people treat differently in Between 1960s and 1980s in the UK due to their skin colour. In the film shown, Eni learns to hate his blackness because he faces persistent low-level racism at home, with Ingrid constantly threatening to send him back to "Wooga-Wooga Land" if he misbehaves, and the target of ceaseless abuse at school.There is one heartbreakingly horrible scene, he tries to scrub it off his skin before covering himself in whitening talcum powder paste, the ghostly, freakish result only occasioning more derision from his peers.[2] He is only offered a chance to become Ingrid’s (her foster mother) favourite when he agrees to steal jewellery for her.[3] And when the Tillbury Skins (as the group is called) strip Enitan naked and spray him with white paint.
