Maizefield
- ... that Aaron Burr hid at Maizefield (pictured) in Red Hook, New York, after killing Alexander Hamilton?
- ALT1: ... that a small cottage (pictured) on the property of Maizefield in Red Hook, New York, was found to be the work of Alexander Jackson Davis?
- Reviewed: Mit Fried und Freud (Buxtehude)
- Comment: Might be able to add a possible ALT1 a little later.
Done Sorry it took a while there ... OK, you can review it now. Daniel Case (talk) 06:14, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
5x expanded by Daniel Case (talk). Self nominated at 22:32, 11 December 2014 (UTC).
The date of expansion, copyvio check and references all look fine, and the QPQ review has been completed. In addition, both images seem to be the work of the uploader, and are properly licensed. However, there is some conflicting information, both in the hook and the article. The hook (as well as the lede of the article) both state that Maizefield was allegedly used as a hideout for Burr, but the body of the article states that it was used as such, authoritatively. That section of the article is cited with four references, two of which are visible to me online, and both sources state that the use by Burr as a hideout is alleged, and not fact. Could you please elaborate a bit on that subject?-RHM22 (talk) 20:17, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- I have changed the wording in the intro, which I wrote when I was less clear about this as I had not yet done all the research. It seems now that it is pretty much accepted that Burr hid out there. Daniel Case (talk) 08:02, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- Addendum: Took care of the hook, too. Daniel Case (talk) 08:03, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
