Mongol conquest of Western Xia
- ... that Genghis Khan (pictured), founder of the Mongol Empire, died of an uncertain cause during his second, punitive campaign against Western Xia in China?
- Reviewed: Witnesses and testimonies of the Armenian Genocide
- Comment: Note to reviewer(s): The sources for this article contain numerous variations in names and spelling of names. They also contain variations in descriptions of military movements. Different sources omit different details, and most of them condense much of the order of battle. I've done my best to reconstruct the sequence of events, especially in the second campaign, by comparing sources and examining the locations of the geographic points described.
