Good fact and sourced. The article meets requirements for length and newness. --Brandt Luke Zorn (talk) 17:43, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
Pulled from prep area at the request of SusanLesch at WT:DYK; hook fact has been traced to Hanratty's company, and is therefore not considered reliable. An ALT hook will be devised. BlueMoonset (talk) 12:42, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks very much to both reviewers for your help. The following ALT seems to be noncontroversial -SusanLesch (talk) 13:53, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
ALT1... that the father of CAD/CAM Patrick J. Hanratty is a gold prospector?
- ALT1 isn't quite right: I think "Father of CAD/CAM" must be quoted here as it is in the article. You might want to think about moving Patrick first, but I think whichever is the middle clause—Patrick currently, but if he is moved and the CAD/CAM placed second—needs to be set off with commas. - Thanks. How about ALT2? -SusanLesch (talk) 00:15, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- ALT2... that Patrick J. Hanratty, the "father of CAD/CAM," is a gold prospector?
