Rhagamys, Sardinian long-eared bat
- ( Back to T:TDYK )
- ( Article history links: Rhagamys
- Sardinian long-eared bat )
- ... that the Sardinian long-eared bat is the only remaining mammal endemic to Sardinia after others, such as Hensel's field mouse, became extinct after the arrival of humans on the island?

5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self nominated at 12:22, 30 October 2014 (UTC).
Only the first is an expansion but both are OK for DYK. Only offline source for the extinction and this make paraphrasing a matter of AGF too. Both articles are neutral and informative. I added a new image which may be useful. Ref 1 in the second article refers to page 1497, but the book doesn't have this many pages. Both articles are compliant with DYK rules IMO, so thanks to @Cwmhiraeth Victuallers (talk) 09:11, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the image. In fact, the page number is correct and that reference goes to a Google Books version of Mammal Species of the World, so you can check for close paraphrasing if you want to :-) Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:13, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
