The Caribbean Mystery
- ... that the swamp scenes in The Caribbean Mystery feature a 350 lb (160 kg) alligator named Ben, who was appearing in his 435th film? Source: "Jimmy Dunn has as a costar for his swamp scenes in 'Caribbean Mystery' a 350-pound alligator, Ben by name. ... Ben did his 435th film with Jimmy and has been working since 1909". Interesting historic film on good sources, no copyvio obvious. The hook idea is fine, so approve it, but think either the weight or the name could go, to get to the key fact sooner. I could also imagine to give two years (first appearance 1909, and film 1945) instead of the number of films. Is it intentional that for the longest time into the hook, we don't even know that it IS a film? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:53, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
