Tsholofelo Thipe
... that Tsholofelo Thipe became the first black woman to ever represent South Africa on the track when she competed in the 400 metres at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing?

New enough, long enough, within policy. But the hook fact is, although supported by a source, not correct. There were earlier black women to represent South Africa on the track. A quick look at the South Africa at the 2004 Summer Olympics shows Geraldine Pillay and Janice Josephs both taking part in track events. I'm not sure where the source went wrong, but maybe she was the first in the 2008 games or the first in that event. Alternative hook and the fix of this line in the article would be necessary to proceed. AbstractIllusions (talk) 15:51, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
