Symbol question.svg Interesting plot! Good sources, some accepted AGF. "Menage" is not an everyday word, and not in the article. (That may be just me.) "Musical take" is a bit harmless, and doesn't prepare for anything vocal. Ideas? How about "a leading woman" (or a better term) instead of giving her name away? (Every other link in the hook takes away from the article clicks, - wisdom from Andy Mabbett) Perhaps: "... a baritone sings the part of a leading lady" (a woman composer ...), --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:19, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
Template:PingOK I would be happy with - would you prefer? -

Alt 1: ... that in Roger Scruton's musical vision of the eccentric love-life of Violet Gordon-Woodhouse, a leading lady is sung by a baritone?

Symbol voting keep.svg Happy. Be prepared to defend "vision", because that is also not a term used in the article. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:14, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
*"Vision"="a creation of fancy". (Wiktionary).--Smerus (talk) 12:50, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
