Supports to Black Lives Matter movement
Dermalogica posted a black square as part of the Blackout Tuesday Instagram protest in honour of Black Lives Matter. Acknowledging that beauty brands haven't always had the courage to speak out, Dermalogica admitted they have a lot of work to do 'as a global company, as people'.
The brand's first steps include educating themselves, their followers and their employees by working with community leaders to have candid conversations about race.
Dermalogica have also committed to a donation to the NAACP, saying 'We stand with every individual using their voice to evoke change against hate and encourage others to do the same.'[2]
