Usage

Place this template at the bottom of appropriate articles about guitars:

{{Guitar tunings}}

For transcluding articles, you can add a variable designating one relevant sub-template: The additional variable will display the sub-template's articles (while hiding the articles in the other sub-templates):

{{Guitar tunings|General}}
{{Guitar tunings|Open}}
{{Guitar tunings|Downtuned}}
{{Guitar tunings|Dropped}}
{{Guitar tunings|Regular}}
{{Guitar tunings|Repetitive}}
{{Guitar tunings|Misc}}

With the optional command |state=collapsed, the whole Guitar-tunings navbox will be initially displayed in its collapsed (hidden) state, e.g. {{Guitar tunings|Regular|state=collapsed}}.

Three classes of open-tunings are shown, repetitive, overtones, and other. The "other" (ad-hoc) open-tunings are often much more popular. Currently, only one ad-hoc open-tuning is displayed. Please do not add additional ad-hoc open-tunings that are not documented in reliable sources cited in the linked article; feel free to add additional ad-hoc open-tunings that are documented in reliable sources in the cited article.
