It was absurd that these deletions from the sidebar were allowed to stand almost 5 months. Some conscientious and seasoned editors should put this sidebar on their watchlist)

This template includes collapsible lists.

  • To set it to display all lists when it appears (i.e. all lists expanded), use:
  •  {{Hindu scriptures and texts |expanded=all}} or, if enabled, {{Hindu scriptures and texts |all}}  (i.e. omitting "expanded=").
  • To set it to display one particular list while keeping the remainder collapsed (i.e. hidden apart from their headings), use:
  •  {{Hindu scriptures and texts |expanded=listname}} or, if enabled, {{Hindu scriptures and texts |listname}}
  • …where listname is one of the following (do not include any quotemarks):
  • Vedas, Vedangas, Upanishads, Puranas, Itihasa, Other, Classification, Timeline
  • For example, {{Hindu scriptures and texts |expanded=Itihasa}} or, if enabled, {{Hindu scriptures and texts |Itihasa}}
