Parameters

  • type - the general type of nebula
    supported types: "nebula", "dark", "diffuse", "emission", "reflection"
  • name – the name of the nebula.
  • image (optional) – an image, specified in the form [[File:imagename]]
  • caption (optional) – a caption for the image
  • subtype - the subtype of this type of nebula
  • class - the class of the subtype of nebula
  • epoch – the epoch when the coordinate measurements were taken
  • ra – the right ascension of the nebula
  • dec – the declination of the nebula
  • dist_ly – the distance of the nebula, in light years
  • dist_pc – the distance of the nebula, in parsecs
  • appmag_v (optional) – the apparent magnitude of the nebula
  • size_v – the apparent dimensions of the nebula
  • constellation – the constellation containing the nebula. Should be wikilinked.
  • radius_ly (optional) – the radius of the nebula, in light years
  • radius_pc (optional) – the radius of the nebula, in parsecs
  • absmag_v (optional) – the absolute magnitude of the nebula
  • notes (optional) - notes
  • names (optional) – any other names, catalogue designations, etc.
