Template:JS migration
Revision as of 13:41, 7 June 2015 by imported>Closedmouth (T13, this is absurd, you need to make more clear, individualised instructions on what needs to be changed in the js pages)
Usage
Placing {{JS migration|done=no}} on the talk page of a javascript that uses elements in MW:ResourceLoader/Legacy JavaScript as being deprecated, will add the page to Category:JavaScripts using deprecated elements(0). These pages will need to be fixed in some way before, per Phab:T35837, they are removed in MediaWiki 1.26 or 1.27. Editors who are updating these scripts may also like to update the scripts to be compliant with the coding conventions as well. When a script has been updated to be compliant, |done=no should be changed to |done=yes to remove the page from the category and indicate that it has been done.
