Rules for classification: 1) Points; 2) Goal difference; 3) Goals scored; 4) Head-to-head goal difference; 5) Fairplay ranking.[1]
(C) Champion; (R) Relegated.
Notes:
  1. Lyon may still qualify for the Europa League group stage if Paris Saint-Germain win the 2016–17 Coupe de France. Therefore, one vacant spot in third qualifying round will be given to the team that finished sixth, Bordeaux.
  2. Since the winners of 2016–17 Coupe de la Ligue, Paris Saint-Germain, qualified for European competition based on their league position, the spot awarded to the Coupe de la Ligue winner (Europa League third qualifying round) is passed to the next best-placed team (in this case to the fifth-placed team).
