Notes:
  1. Paris Saint-Germain qualified for the Europa League group stage by winning the 2016–17 Coupe de France, and for the Europa League third qualifying round by winning the 2016–17 Coupe de la Ligue. However, since they already qualified for European competition based on their league position, the spots awarded to the cup winners were passed down the league.
