As Toronto FC won MLS Cup 2017, at least one of the U.S. berths for the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League will be reallocated to the U.S.-based team with the best aggregate record over the 2017 and 2018 MLS regular seasons that has not yet qualified. More berths will be allocated based on this method if a Canada-based team wins MLS Cup 2018, and/or a U.S.-based team qualifies for multiple CONCACAF Champions League berths (by winning a combination of MLS Cup 2018, 2017 U.S. Open Cup, and/or 2018 U.S. Open Cup).[1]

Note: Only U.S.-based teams are listed in this table.
