Usage

Where text was copied from ARKive's fact-files to Wikipedia as part of the ARKive collaboration project, this template can be used to acknowledge it. This template should not be used when ARKive is cited as a reference, but only when the text from ARKive becomes part of the article in the same way as text originally written by Wikipedia editors.

This template adds the articles transcluding it to the hidden category Category:Wikipedia articles incorporating text from ARKive.

This template takes two optional parameters:

  • title, which is the title of the ARKive article; if omitted, the name of the Wikipedia article in which the template is referenced is used.
  • url, a link to the original ARKive article
