Structure
The United Nations classification scheme for African countries is used.[1]
Usage
Simply create a ==Related projects==
section, somewhere on your Africa-related WikiProject page, usually at or very near the bottom, add {{Africa-related WikiProjects}}
to that section and save the page.
Customization
At this time, the "guts" of the template cannot be extensively customized. Do not "subst:" this template, in an attempt to customize it or you will defeat its purpose. However, you can easily add a custom new section, simply by appending:

This can be used to add one or more sections of other related projects, such as such as projects devoted to cities in the state, sports team projects relevant to the state, historically-related projects.
A relevant task force of another WikiProject, that is not itself relevant as a whole, can be linked to in the following manner:
[[Wikipedia:WikiProject PROJECTNAME1/TASKFORCENAME|TASKFORCENAME]]
