This template is used to mark articles which are missing the alternate text for images (see WP:ALT). The template is based on Template:Coord missing which uses an identical structure to flag those articles needing geographical coordinates added.

Usage

Parameters

countryname:
should be one of the country names used in the subcategories of Category:Articles missing geocoordinate data by country. Where a particular country cannot be identified, one of the continent names used in the subcategories of Category:Articles missing geocoordinate data by continent should be used instead.
countyname:
a suitable county or state name. Note that not all of these have yet been created, but most countries should be there.
The categories are hidden categories. To view hidden categories, one needs to activate them in Special:Preferences. Under "Misc", there is "Show hidden categories".

Removal of template

The template should be removed when the alternate text has been added to the article.
