Usage

This template should be added to all Route Diagram Templates of Australian railways.

It will automatically include the diagram in Category:Templates for railway lines of Australia.

Adding an optional parameter will create a sort key under which the template will be filed under in Category:Templates for railway lines of Australia. If omitted, the page name will be used.

The optional named parameter |line= will include the railway name as a link, for example,

{{Australian-railway-routemap|line=Wooloongabba Branch}}

will change the first line of the template to:

grey

The optional named parameter |type= will change “an Australian railway line” to “an Australian alternate text”. For example,

{{Australian-railway-routemap|type=tramway}}

will change the first line of the template to:

grey

and,

{{Australian-railway-routemap|line=Dulwich Hill Line|type=[[light rail]] line}}

will change the first line of the template to:

grey

The optional named parameter |place= will change “an Australian railway line” to “aalternate text railway line”. For example,

{{Australian-railway-routemap|place= Tasmanian}}

will change the first line of the template to:

grey

Note that the leading space (or n ) is required, because the default text is n Australian.

Adding the code |cat=no will suppress inclusion in Category:Templates for railway lines of Australia.
