This template is used to cite online sources in Wikipedia articles. For general information about citations in Wikipedia articles, see Wikipedia:cite sources.

All parameters
When copying all parameters, in either horizontal or vertical layout, delete those you don't need.

Required parameters
- title: The title of the cited document
- eurlextag or url: Only use one of these.
eurlextagis a tag for the EUR-Lex database e.g. OJ:L:2002:118:0001:0054:EN:PDFurlis a direct url for the document e.g. http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32012L0013
Optional parameters
- eurlexscheme: Can optionally be tried in combination with
eurlextagif the template does not generate a working link. The only supported value as of April 2014 iseurlexscheme=uriservfor url's starting withhttp://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=uriserv:. If no workling link can be made witheurlextagthen useurlinstead.
