This article is about a person, place, or concept whose name was originally written in the Cyrillic script; however the article does not have that version of its name in the lead paragraph. Anyone who is knowledgeable enough with the original language is invited to assist in adding the Cyrillic.

For more information, see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Cyrillic).

Usage

Articles with this template are automatically added to Category:Articles needing Cyrillic script or text. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

{{Cyrillic
|Bashkir=
|Belarusian=
|Bosnian=
|Bulgarian=
|Kazakh=
|Kyrgyz=
|Macedonian=
|Mongolian=
|Russian=
|Sakha=
|Serbian=
|Tajik=
|Turkmen=
|Tuvan=
|Ukrainian=
|Uzbek=
}}
  • language name= yes if the article pertains specifically to a specific language

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
