Usage
This template is a general-purpose template for the dispute resolution noticeboard, to make it easier for participants and volunteers to see the status of a dispute
The template takes only one parameter, which is optional. Details are given below.

When a parameter is placed as shown above, it will display the following:
| Parameter | Returns |
|---|---|
| none |  – New discussion. |
| active, open or inprogress |  – Discussion in progress. |
| needassist, relist or relisted | – New discussion. |
| review |  – This request has been open for some time and must be reviewed. |
| resolve or resolved |  Dispute resolved successfully. See comments for reasoning. |
| fail or failed |  – Closed as failed. See comments for reasoning. |
| hold | – This request has been placed on hold. |
| close |  – General close. See comments for reasoning. |
stale and inactive are deprecated parameter per Wikipedia_talk:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard#DRN_Case_Status_Template_updating now mapping to needassist, and should not be used on active cases.
