10th millennium BC

  • ... that the Younger Dryas ceased c. 9700 BC and marks the cutover from the Pleistocene to the Holocene epoch? Source: "Major Divisions". Subcommission on Quaternary Stratigraphy. International Commission on Stratigraphy. 4 January 2016.

  • (Not reviewing; just an observation....) None of the above hooks are valid. A hook must have a link to the DYK article, and the link must be bold. Please see WP:DYKHOOK. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 02:15, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Thank you. I missed that (only the second DYK I've done). I've now provided piped links to the article in each hook. No Great Shaker (talk) 13:55, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
  1. Good Article status June 8
  2. The first hook is best IMO for a wide audience though sheep fans would disagree. Fact verified.

  • Promoting the sheep. With ALT0, Younger Dryas is going to get more clicks than the main article because most people (like me) won't know what it's talking about. Yoninah (talk) 20:50, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
