1966 Syrian coup d'état
- ... that the 1966 Syrian coup d'état removed the original founders of Ba'athism Michel Aflaq and Salah al-Din al-Bitar from power, caused the 1966 Ba'ath Party split, and brought the neo-Ba'athists led by Salah Jadid, and constiting of Hafez al-Assad, to power in Syria?

- I reviewed Jane Lee. --TIAYN (talk) 10:26, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- good work, looks good to go. – Connormah (talk) 21:54, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
Hook is 266 characters, well over the 200 maximum, so this is not even close to being ready. Under the circumstances, a new ALT hook is needed, and a complete re-review by another reviewer is in order, as the review was clearly flawed and we have no idea whether any actual DYK criteria were applied.
- Also, if someone could please check the DYKmake template, I'm pretty sure that a subpage is supposed to be there for article titles that include punctuation (and, maybe, accented characters?), but I had to improvise since there wasn't one at all. I also had to improvise while fixing the DYK nompage links template up top, since it seemed to think it was the Jane Lee nomination rather than this one, so a check there would also be welcome. Very odd. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:53, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, I totally overlooked the hook's characters, totally my fault on that, sorry. The article looks fine to me (had a readthrough, the cites look good, length looks good), though for what it's worth. – Connormah (talk) 05:42, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Be sure to take a look at the DYK reviewing guide and also the DYK rules and (equally important) supplementary rules so you'll know about all these things going forward. For example, DYK articles should not be stubs, and this one was categorized as a stub on its talk page. (The DYKcheck tool reports on this, and also length and expansion issues.) Since the article is clearly no longer a stub, that designation needs to be adjusted, so to save time I've done so. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:11, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
The hook has still not been formatted to meet the guidelines. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 10:28, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
