Bangalore Blue

  • ... that the Bangalore Blue variety of grape is known to have anti-cancer and anti-ageing properties?

  • Whether prevention of cancer or treatment, we should not be putting this on the front page, without solid sourcing, and that does not exist. Rather than "known", perhaps "claimed" might be better. See WP:MEDPOP for more on sourcing. Edwardx (talk) 20:07, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
  • I agree. You have to be very careful when someone claims a food can cure/prevent cancer. The source is not reliable (and i just added an inline tag about it in the article), and textually says "Modern research shows that this grape has anti-cancer and anti-ageing properties too.[1]" with no support whatsoever.
