Article is New – yes, was created on Oct 12 and nominated on Oct 17- Article is Long enough – yes, the prose portion is 2,508 characters
- Article is Within policy – it reads neutral, it has a citation after nearly every sentence.
- Hook is fewer than 200 characters--yes, it is 149 characters
- Hook starts with ellipses, bolds the target article and ends with a question mark – yes
- Hook is interesting to a broad audience—yes
- Hook is neutral and does not focus unduly on negative aspects of living people—the hook is about a person who has passed away, It was negative at that time it took place, but per the February 28 incident article, it is no longer considered negative.
- QPQ was done—yes
- Image – no image
Article is Within policy – I checked the sources given for three sentences that were sourced to English-language sources and didn’t see any paraphrasing or plagiarism. - Hook is accurate and cited with an inline citation in the article—this must be taken on good faith because the citation is to a Chinese-language source.
Your source [3] (City University Speaker bio) gives a different birthplace to the one you have in the article sourced to source [1]: Feng-Shan, Taiwan. Can you address this discrepancy in the article by saying the birth place is not certain?- Could you include links in the publication list? That seems usual practice.
- He sounds like he did a lot for engineering; it is great that you wrote an article about him! 70.67.193.176 (talk) 16:20, 24 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for your review. I've edited the article to clarify his birth place: Fengshan was previously a county/district of Tainan, but is now a district of Kaohsiung City (which was itself historically part of Tainan). I hope that clarifies the issue. I've also added links to journals and conferences in the publication list. -Zanhe (talk) 19:05, 24 October 2018 (UTC)
