Cimicidae
- ... that birds, bats and humans are the main hosts of members of the bed bug family?
- ALT1:... that reproduction in bed bugs involves traumatic insemination?

The article itself passes all checks, but I have some issues with the proposed hooks. Hook 1 would be a great hook, except that I don't see anywhere in the article that this claim is immediately followed by a reliable source; it's mentioned in the lead without a citation, but in the body there are no direct claims that bats, birds and humans are the main hosts (although each of these groups of animals is mentioned prominently in the article). The second hook passes all checks, but I'm wondering whether a linked reference to traumatic insemination is the best content for a DYK blurb on the main page. signed, Rosguill talk 22:58, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- Template:Ping Thank you for the review. I have added a cited sentence about hosts and agree that the original hook is more suitable for the main page than ALT1. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:13, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
