- ALT1: ... that the Kurdish civil engineer and politician Hevrin Khalaf, known for her diplomatic skills in negotiations with the United States, France and others, was killed in the 2019 Turkish offensive into north-eastern Syria?
- ALT2: ... that the Kurdish civil engineer and politician Hevrin Khalaf, Secretary General of the Future Syria Party, was killed in the 2019 Turkish offensive into north-eastern Syria?
- ALT3: ... that the Kurdish civil engineer and politician Hevrin Khalaf, who worked towards tolerance among Christians, Arabs and Kurds, was killed in the 2019 Turkish offensive into Syria?
- It would be nice to be able to shorten the offensive, but I am not sure about political correctness. Tried in the last, - ccould be used for the others if acceptable. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:30, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

QPQ confirmed and I'm happy with any of the hooks — ALT1 is probably my favourite, with ALT3 a close second. Sorry for the delay; I only saw your message once you {{ping}}-ed me 😊 — OwenBlacker (he/him; Talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 16:39, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
