Humphrey Bradley
- ... that in 1599 Henri IV of France appointed Humphrey Bradley maître des digues du royaume, or "master of dykes of the Kingdom", in effect a monopoly of all dyking and land reclamation work in France? Article is long enough, in date, well sourced, and meets all policies. Hook is confirmed in the sources and is interesting. It could be shortened by cutting it after "master of dykes of the Kingdom" to make it a little more tantalising perhaps, but no strong opinion, or desire to override the wishes of the nominator. QPQ has been done, no copyvio issues. Looks good to go. Spokoyni (talk) 11:20, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
