Laem Phak Bia
- ... that Laem Phak Bia is visited by several endangered species of wader? Source: "The critically endangered Spoon-billed Sandpiper is by far the most sought-after bird here which is regularly seen on the salt farms at Pak Thale between late October and late March. Nordmann's Greenshank is an annual winter visitor too "
- ALT1:... that Laem Phak Bia is visited by the spoon-billed sandpiper, the Nordmann's greenshank and the black-faced spoonbill, all endangered wading birds? Source:"Pak Thale and Laem Phak Bia are most famous for wintering Spoon-billed Sandpiper - a species undergoing a drastic decline. Other key species include Nordmann's Greenshank, Black-faced Spoonbill"
- ALT2:... that the critically endangered spoon-billed sandpiper can often be seen at Laem Phak Bia?
- Reviewed: Edward Sealy
- Comment: All these birds are endangered but the sources used do not necessarily say that, so I have added ALT2.

ALT2 approved, Cwmhiraeth, Paul 012; feel free to suggest other hooks if you like (this one may not be interesting to non-birders; maybe add something about the sewage threat?). I made some edits; apart from the added citations for ALT2, approval is not conditional on them. Feel free to revert them, and I won't dispute it. HLHJ (talk) 01:37, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
ALT1 and ALT2 approved. I meant ALT1, off-by-1 error. However, I have now cited ALT2, as well. For clarity:
- ALT0a ... that several endangered species of shorebirds live in Laem Phak Bia?
...is cited, but maybe not very hooky. HLHJ (talk) 19:30, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: Thanks for sharing the credit, but my contributions were rather minimal; I think it'd be fine to just give sole credit to Cwmhiraeth. --Paul_012 (talk) 07:51, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
