  • Symbol question.svg New enough and long enough. Hook is fine, and whilst I know the hook accurately reflects the events in the play, there is no reference to support it. There are not enough references generally - even some links to the relevant sections of a free online version of the text would help. Edwardx (talk) 00:14, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
  • You have added a free online version of the play as your second External link (by the way, the first links returns a 404 error). Alas, this version does not include line numbers. DYK rule 3b is clear - "The hook fact must be cited in the article with an inline citation to a reliable source". Edwardx (talk) 23:38, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Symbol possible vote.svg Sorry Tony - IMO this article extends the scope of DYK. The article offers only one source apart from the play itself. This is like an article about a film where the only content is sourced plot summary. In this case its not even a complete plot, its just the bits where one character appears. More 3rd party analysis required to supply sources. IMO. thanks Victuallers (talk) 18:54, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg From what I see the sources also include the notes written by three other sources, so there is more than 1 primary source + 1 other. So I will say sourcing overall is OK. QPQ is OK. confirming new and long enough. Also plagiarism check can only find the quotes, which are OK. However the last paragraph has no inline citations. A second issue with the hook is that this article does not state that Macbeth killed Duncan. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:43, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
