- Seaches for caused and began don't find me the text supporting the hook. Can you quote it? Or maybe, more generally, the problem is... what does "responsible for" mean in this context? EEng (talk) 03:22, 18 August 2014 (UTC)
- Under the sub-heading, Battle of Bayonne,"Thouvenot, on the morning of 14 April, attacked the British siege lines with 6,000 men", then a little later on, "The sortie proved to be the last major action of the Peninsular War". As the garrison's commanding officer, Thouvenot ordered the sortie, which is why he alone was heavily criticised.--Ykraps (talk) 06:04, 18 August 2014 (UTC)
